at our facility or personalized training onsite with your company.
ATS training courses ensure that companies can fully utilize the features
within the software as well as enhance current workflow.
Edgecam Design
This is a 1-day class designed for the new or novice Edgecam user.
The course is designed to
provide users with a thorough
understanding of how to create
and edit wire-frame and surface
geometry within Edgecam,
including working with imported
CAD models (DXF, DWG, and IGES).

Basic Milling
The 2 day course is
designed to provide users with
an understanding of how to use
the software for programming
parts requiring prismatic
milling. The user will learn how
to machine both solid models and
wire-frame geometry models.
Please note that this is a
solids-based training class,
with most of the classroom
training spent on creating
toolpath, not model geometry.
Prerequisite:
: Edgecam Design

Advanced Milling
Multiplane: Creation
and manipulation of user
coordinate systems and rotary
tool path.
Prerequisite: Edgecam
Design and Edgecam Basic Milling
classes. The use of Edgecam
Milling 30-60 days in a
productive manor.
July 12 - 13
Basic Lathe
This is a 2-day class designed for the new or novice Edgecam user.
The course is designed to
provide users with an
understanding of how to use the
software for programming 2-axis
lathes. The user will learn how
to machine both solid models and
wire-frame geometry models.
Please note that this is a
solids-based training class,
with most of the classroom
training spent on creating
toolpath, not model geometry. Prerequisite:

September 27 - 29
Advanced Lathe
This 2-day
class will provide users with an
understanding of how to use
Edgecam for programming advanced
turning centers. Users will
learn programming for live
tooling (C, Y, and B-axis
mill/turn), sub-spindles, and
dual turrets.Prerequisite:
Edgecam Design and Edgecam Basic
Turning. The use of Edgecam
Turning 30-60 days in a
productive manor.
June 7 - 8
Code Wizard
This is a 2-day advanced
class designed for the Edgecam
user interested in learning how
to create and modify code
generators (post processors).
This class explores the Code
Wizard software, how to add
specialized logic for advanced
applications, and adding CNC
machine tool kinematics &
graphics for accurate toolpath
simulation. This class is
applicable for both lathe and
mill applications, and is very
technical.
Prerequisite: Must be able to
read G-Code programs
